Shanola Hampton has a son! The ‘Shameless’ star welcomed her and husband Daren Dukes’ second child on Monday, May 9, 2016.
The couple named their son Daren O.C. Shanola’s representative tells PEOPLE that the little one weighed a healthy 7 lbs., 6 oz, and measured 20 inches long.
“One and one, now we’re done,” Hampton shared with media shortly after giving birth. The actress also took to Instagram to announce her son’s arrival. “And then God gave me my son,” she shared along with a picture of her holding the newest family addition.
Shanola announced her expectancy in November. The actress expressed excitement over her second pregnancy on Thanksgiving Day. “So much to be thankful for, but this year we are most grateful for the expansion of our family,” she exclaimed. Shanola also told fans that she and Daren were expecting a son.
Little Daren joins Shanola and Daren Sr.’s daughter, Cai, at home. Cai celebrated her second birthday in January.
