STEVIE WONDER PLANS TO MOVE TO GHANA FOR THE SAKE OF HIS GRANDCHILDREN

"I Don't Want To See My Children's Children's Children Have To Say, 'Oh, Please Like Me.'"

Stevie Wonder wants to move to Ghana permanently because of racism in the United States. The legendary singer recently shared his plans to relocate with Oprah.

“I wanna see this nation smile again,” Wonder shared with Oprah. “And I want to see it before I leave to travel to move to Ghana because I’m going to do that,” Stevie declared.

The musician went on to explain why he is preparing to move to Africa. “I don’t want to see my children’s children’s children have to say, ‘Oh, please like me. Please respect me. Please know that I am important. Please value me,'” Wonder shared. “What kinda [life is that],” the recording artist asked.

Stevie Wonder fathers nine children. One of the celebrity father’s younger children, Mandla, was a contestant on Dancing With The Stars: Juniors in 2018. Mandla did not win the competition, but the youngster did make his mark with the help of his dad.

Stevie Wonder sang during one of his son’s performances, which sent the presentation over the top. Cheryl Burke, Mandla’s mentor, commented on her partner’s progress during Morris’s time on the show.

“I think he’s the last ‘no dance experience’ man standing — out of the rest of the competition he has zero dance experience,” Cheryl revealed. “We’ve seen him grow and that’s what Dancing With The Stars is all about!”

Mandla is not the only person in the Morris family brand who is building a name for himself in the spotlight. Kailand Morris is also establishing himself in the fashion industry. It was just a few months ago that Kailand served as the face of Dior for the brand’s Men’s Modern Tailoring Capsule Line.

Kailand told his social media fans that he was “so very excited to be a part of this project. The model also gave “a big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this happen.”

Will the whole Morris family move to Ghana to be near Stevie Wonder? Fans will have to wait and see how things unfold!
