Queen Naija and her fiancé, Clarence White, are having another boy!
The couple shared the news in a new YouTube video, where they invited family and friends to guess whether their second child together would be a boy or a girl.
Most of their loved ones predicted a girl, especially since Queen is already mom to two boys. And as it turns out, a daughter was what Queen and Clarence had initially hoped for, too.
Following the reveal, the couple sat down to discuss the news and admitted that they had both thought they were expecting a girl early in the pregnancy.
“In the early beginning, we really both thought it was gonna be a girl,” Clarence explained. “Because with the pregnancy and how she was acting, her symptoms and everything was way different from Legend.”
She agreed that her symptoms had initially made her think she was carrying a girl. However, she began having second thoughts after noticing something during an ultrasound.
“One day I was doing an ultrasound and I saw something in between those legs, and I knew in my heart,” she shared. “I knew in my heart it was gonna be a boy.”
The singer also revealed that she accidentally spotted the baby’s sex while looking through her medical test results, giving her another reason to believe she was having a son.
Although Clarence admitted he had wanted a daughter, he made it clear that he was happy about welcoming another boy.
Queen Naija felt the same way, explaining that she loves being a boy mom.
“I’m really, really not mad because I already know how it is with boys. They’re so loving, and I just feel like I’m still the queen of the castle now,” she said.
The baby will join Queen’s sons Christopher “CJ” Sails Jr., 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Sails, and Legend Lorenzo White, 7, her son with Clarence.
Queen and Clarence announced their pregnancy on October 4 with a playful Instagram video that ended with the singer showing off her baby bump.
The pregnancy news came nearly six months after Clarence proposed to Queen following eight years together. The couple announced their engagement in April.
