SANDRA BULLOCK REVEALS HER KIDS LOUIS AND LAILA HAVE CAMEOS IN ‘PRACTICAL MAGIC 2’

Sandra Bullock’s children have cameos in Practical Magic 2.

During an interview with Access Hollywood at the film’s Los Angeles premiere Monday, the actress revealed that Louis, 16, and Laila, 12, can be seen briefly in the sequel.

“They’re in the movie but not in an obvious way to you,” she shared.

Their roles are so subtle that neither child knows where they appear in the film.

“Yeah, not in an obvious way, and so I can’t wait to sort of show them where it is,” the mom of two continued. “They don’t know where it is.”

When asked whether she was a proud mother, Sandra responded, “Unbelievably proud,” before reflecting on how much she now learns from her children.

“What’s amazing is that something happens when you have kids where you stop being the influence on them, and they become the influence on you,” she explained.

Each child, she added, guides her in a different way. The Oscar winner described Louis as her “steadfast moral barometer” and said she often asks herself, “What would Louis do?”

“And when it comes to like spotting things and thinking forward, it’s [Laila],” she continued. “It’s just like they’re so completely different, but yet they give me two halves of a whole.”

Sandra reprises her role as Sally Owens in Practical Magic 2, nearly three decades after the original film premiered in 1998. Nicole Kidman also returns as Sally’s sister, Gillian Owens.

During an April appearance at CNBC’s Changemakers Summit, Sandra shared that she filmed the sequel while Louis and Laila were out of school.

“I’m not going to sacrifice my time with my kids,” she said during the panel. “They’d be happy if I was gone, I would not.”

She added that being available for her family remains her priority.

“I do not do my best work if my children are struggling or if they need something and I can’t facilitate it,” she said. “I’m raising my children, not anybody else.”

Sandra adopted Louis in 2010 and welcomed Laila through adoption in 2015. She has largely kept both children out of the public eye.
