The Game and Tiffney Cambridge went all out for their daughter, Cali Dream Taylor, as she celebrated her Sweet 16 over the weekend.
The former couple threw Cali a lavish masquerade soirée on Saturday, August 22, one day after her actual birthday.
For the celebration, the birthday girl stepped out in a pink strapless mini dress featuring a voluminous skirt and black detailing. She completed her look with strappy heels, sparkling jewelry and long waves.
Family and friends gathered in Beverly Hills for the occasion, including Cali’s siblings, who were on hand to celebrate the milestone with her.
The evening included plenty of dancing, a photo booth and a special performance by Los Angeles singer and rapper Kalan.FrFr. Cali also had a pink birthday cake topped with a crown to match the princess-worthy celebration.
But one of the biggest surprises of the night was waiting outside.
The Game presented his daughter with a brand-new Mercedes-Maybach SUV topped with an oversized pink bow. Cali was blindfolded before being led outside, where her dad unveiled the luxury vehicle in front of family and friends.
The 16-year-old could hardly contain her excitement after seeing her new ride.
The celebration came one day after The Game released his latest album, The Documentary III, on Cali’s birthday, August 21.
Ahead of the big weekend, the rapper revealed that his daughter had been understanding when he told her his album might arrive on her special day.
“I told my daughter that I might have to drop my album on her 16th birthday & she said ‘it’s okay dad… I know how hard you’ve worked & how much it means to you so we can do my sweet 16 birthday party & celebrate me tomorrow,’” he shared.
The proud dad thanked Cali for giving him the space to focus on the project before turning his attention to her celebration.
“I appreciate & love you so much baby for allowing me to finish what I started so that I can give you 100% today,” he wrote. “Happy Birthday to my baby girl.”
He added, “I love being your father & you have always been the perfect daughter to me.”
The rapper then teased what he and Cambridge had planned for their daughter, writing, “Today we celebrate you baby.. and trust when I say, this will be one of the best days of your life !!!! Watch how I me & your mother put on for you.”
And they certainly did.
Cali, who was born on August 21, 2010, is The Game and Cambridge’s youngest child together. The former couple also shares son King Justice Taylor. The rapper is also dad to sons Harlem and Blaze.
