Big Sean is giving fans a rare glimpse of his son, Noah Hasani, whom he shares with Jhené Aiko
The rapper recently shared a series of photos from life lately, including a couple of sweet moments with the three-year-old.
In one photo, Sean poses for a selfie with Noah, who adorably covers his face with his hand. Another captures the father-son duo outside, with the youngster perched on his dad’s shoulders as they watch a garbage truck make its way through the neighborhood.
Sean and Aiko welcomed Noah on November 8, 2022, marking the rapper’s first experience with fatherhood. Since then, the Detroit native has been open about how raising his little boy has changed the way he looks at himself, his family and even the things he hopes to pass down to the next generation.
During an appearance on On Purpose with Jay Shetty, Sean described becoming a parent as almost like “time traveling,” andexplained that having a child made him think more deeply about lineage and the traits families carry from one generation to another.
For Sean, that realization has also made working on himself even more important.
“You also pass on the good and the bad,” he explained, noting the importance of taking care of yourself “physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.”
One thing the “Better Me Than You” rapper is determined not to pass down to Noah is his tendency to worry.
Sean admitted that his imagination once led him to create negative scenarios in his head, including fears that he could lose everything he had built and end up back where he started. Fatherhood, however, has made him think about how those fears could affect his son.
Instead, he wants to nurture something he already sees in Noah: confidence.
“That’s one of the things I love about my boy,” Sean said. “He’s so confident.”
The proud dad also described Noah as having a “great heart” and “great spirit,” adding that his son already enjoys making people laugh.
“I just wanna keep [watering] that confidence in him,” he said.
Noah is Sean’s only child and Aiko’s second. The singer is also mom to daughter Namiko Love Browner.
