ANTHONY EDWARDS ORDERED TO PAY ALEXANDRIA DESCROCHES $14K A MONTH IN CHILD SUPPORT

Anthony Edwards has been ordered to pay $14,000 a month in child support for his 2-year-old son, Amir, whom the NBA star says he has never met.

The Minnesota Timberwolves guard shares Amir with Alexandria Descroches, who sought an increase from a baseline amount of roughly $3,200 per month.

A judge ultimately agreed that a higher payment was warranted.

According to TMZ, Edwards’ finances played a major role in the decision. Court records list his monthly income at nearly $4.8 million and show that he spends about $31,000 a month on food, $70,000 on entertainment and another $30,000 on vacations.

Descroches, meanwhile, reportedly earns just over $1,000 per month. She told the court that she hopes to finish college and improve her ability to financially support Amir.

But perhaps the biggest revelation from the case involved Edwards’ relationship — or lack thereof — with his son.

Edwards reportedly acknowledged under oath that he has never met Amir in person. The NBA star is also not seeking parenting time with the toddler.

Along with the $14,000 monthly payments, Edwards was ordered to obtain a life insurance policy worth approximately $2.6 million, naming Descroches as the primary beneficiary. He must also pay more than $21,000 toward her legal fees.

The ruling marks the latest child support decision involving Edwards.

Last month, a Georgia judge ordered him to pay $3,222 per month for his daughter Aubri’, whom he shares with Ayesha Howard.

Edwards had already paid $110,000 toward Aubri’s support before the final order was issued. His payments began with $20,000 in January 2025, followed by $5,000 each month leading up to the trial.

The former couple had previously battled over whether their child support case should be handled in California or Georgia. Howard pushed for California, while Edwards argued that Georgia was the proper jurisdiction. The court ultimately agreed with Edwards.

Edwards signed a five-year contract extension with the Timberwolves in 2023 worth more than $200 million.
