Lil Jon gave girlfriend Jamila Sozahdah a special shoutout on Mother’s Day.
The rapper shared a video montage on Instagram showing Jamila with their daughter, Nahara, and thanked her for being “an amazing mother” to their little girl.
“HAPPY MOTHERS DAY @jamilasozahdah. Thank you for being an amazing mother to our daughter Nahara,” he wrote. “Watching you love and care for her every day is a beautiful thing.”
Lil Jon also told Jamila that seeing her become a mom made him appreciate her even more.
“Watching you step into motherhood with so much grace and strength has made me love and appreciate you even more,” he continued.
He added, “You’re an incredible woman, an incredible mother, and we appreciate everything you do. Me and Nahara love you endlessly.”
Lil Jon and Jamila welcomed Nahara in 2024. The following year, they celebrated her first birthday with a joint Thanksgiving post on Instagram.
“This Thanksgiving, our hearts are full and so is the love. Happy 1 year birthday to our baby girl, Nahara. A lifetime of blessings ahead. Alhamdulillah,” they wrote at the time.
Jamila, who stars on “Secrets & Sisterhood: The Sozahdahs,” kept her pregnancy out of the spotlight before later confirming she was expecting. Fans eventually learned Lil Jon was the father after months of speculation online.
Lil Jon is also father to an adult son, Nathan “DJ Young Slade” Smith, who died earlier this year at age 27 after he was found in a pond at a park in Milton, Georgia. Authorities later ruled his death an accidental drowning linked to psilocybin use.
After his son’s funeral took place during Ramadan, Lil Jon shared an emotional message online.
“Please pray that Allah grants him Jannah and grants us sabr, mercy, and strength,” he wrote. “I love you, son. Life will never be the same without you.”
