A$AP Rocky recently opened up about his two kids, RZA and Riot, and how their personalities are starting to show as they grow up.
In a new interview with Vogue, the rapper, 36, described his oldest son, RZA, 3, as someone who prefers quiet time. “The older one, he stays to himself—he likes his books,” Rocky said.

Riot, who is 21 months old, brings a different type of energy to the house. “He likes to take stuff from his brother so his brother can chase him.”
The boys’ differences were also echoed by Rihanna in an interview earlier this year. “Riot, he’s just hilarious,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “When he wakes up, he starts to squeal, scream. Not in a crying way. He just wants to sing… He’s my alarm in the morning. He’s not taking no for an answer from anyone.”
Elsewhere in an on-camera interview, Rocky reflected on his own evolution since becoming a dad.
“I think becoming a father helped me just get my dad swag bag. I’m really on that. That’s what I do. I’m on that dad swag. I love it.”
He continued, “I could justify doing things, like not going to the club or just leaving after five minutes, and s— like that. Doing old people s— just for the sake of it. I act tired and I don’t even be tired.”
Rocky also spoke briefly about his relationship with Rihanna, describing it as “internal, external, infinite, the past, and the future.”
His grandmother, Cathy, added her thoughts in the feature, sharing her support for the couple. “I’m glad that he settled down, and I’m happy with who he settled down with,” she said about Rihanna. “She’s a down-to-earth person.”
Last month, Rihanna marked International Women’s Day by posting a photo of herself holding both sons as newborns. “By far the most powerful thing I’ve ever done as a woman…my little miracles! #InternationalWomensDay,” she wrote. “Day 1 – RZA. 2 – Riot Rose. And yes, I gave birth in pearls and sunglasses…don’t ask, a lot was happening.”
