B2K alum Raz B, whose real name is De’Mario Monte Thornton, is officially a new dad!
The R&B singer announced today that he and his wife have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy name Versai Carter Thornton.
Born on October 10, 2024, baby Versai made his debut weighing in at a healthy 8 pounds, 12 ounces.
Raz B took to Instagram to share the exciting news with his fans, writing, “Our baby boy has arrived!! He’s healthy and doing great, and we’re in awe of how amazing God is. Feeling beyond blessed and grateful!”
The proud new dad used the moment to reflect on the significance of this new chapter in his life.
“I’ve got my wife, my kids, and my mental health. God has given me another chance at life, and my relationships have been restored,” he wrote in his Instagram stories.
The R&B crooner added that all he needs now is a B2K farewell tour before riding off “into the sunset.”
Last month, on September 13, Raz shared the news of his Impending fatherhood.
Posting a now-deleted ultrasound video, accompanied by Celine Dion’s emotional ballad “A New Day Has Come,”he opened up about the personal growth he’s experienced over the years.
“As I embrace this new chapter in life, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me on my journey. Your love, guidance, and belief in me have meant more than I can express,” he said.
He also acknowledged the struggles he’s faced in the past, saying, “Despite the trials and tribulations I’ve faced, I’ve been able to overcome and conquer my past. Through the grace of God and the unwavering support of my family and friends, I stand here today, stronger and more focused than ever.”
