Gabourey Sidibe and her husband, Brandon Frankel, welcomed twins to the world in early April of this year. Recently, the Empire actress shared a new photo of the adorable twins, Cooper and Maya, in awe of how fast they are growing.
The mother-of-two captioned her social media post, “They are getting so big so fast!!!”
Frankel excitedly commented on the post saying, “My whole entire heart in one picture,” followed by two emoji’s: a heart-eye emoji and a crying one.
The entertainment marketing and branding professional posted a different snap of his favorite trio on social media.
Frankel captioned his post, “MY THREE FAVE PEOPLE! My heart is bursting. So much love in this house. I live to make these people laugh and smile- I’ll do anything to get it done, zero shame. I love you all so much.”
Two months after the twins were born, the 41-year-old American Horror Story actress sat down for an exclusive photoshoot and interview with Shutterstock where the new parents opened up about their parenting journey.
“Brandon always wanted to name a son Cooper, so we call him ‘Coop,’ and Maya was named shortly before our baby moon to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. Both twins have traditional West African middle names after members of my family,” Sidibe told Shutterstock at the time regarding the kids’ names.
The Precious star added, “They’re both extremely strong and hilarious, though they have yet to really interact with each other.”
“Cooper will sometimes speak for Maya and alert us that she’s about to spit up. Maya loves her name being sung to her and is the queen of comedic timing, and Cooper loves his sleep and has the funniest facial expressions. They both love cuddling with Mom and Dad.”
Sidibe and Frankel met on a dating app and married in 2021.
We can unquestionably tell that Sidibe and Frankel are enjoying watching their children grow. And, we are definitely grateful that they are allowing us to accompany them on this delightful journey because we cannot get enough of these two adorable faces.
