Teyana Taylor and her kids recently set off on a Caribbean adventure to have some “much needed fun” before heading back to school.
The multi-hyphenate entertainer shared a carousel of images of their vacation fun on Instagram.
She captioned her post, “Vacay Dumppppp of some much needed fun in the Bahama mama sun with my favorite lil mamas @gottalovejunie @babyruerose in the whole wide worldddddddddd at the incredible @atlantisbahamas before we get geared up for back to school! 📸: @gottalovejunie @teyanataylor @kvnhrtlss.”
Teyana Taylor is mother to daughters Junie Tayla, 8, and Rue Rose, 3, with whom she shares with former NBA player Iman Shumpert.
The couple has been in the midst of a very public divorce and custody battle since Taylor’s original filing in January 2023. According to reports, the pair have finally finalized their divorce.
Per court documents obtained by The Jasmine Brand, a Georgia Fulton County Court judge ruled that The Chi actress will retain four martial properties, totaling approximately $10 million. Additionally, the judged ruled that Taylor will keep her vehicles, jewelry, and her companies, “Taylormade” and “The Aunties.”
Shumpert was ordered by the judge to pay a “one-time seven figure payment” to Taylor. He will retain ownership of his condo in Miami and additional residencies in South Georgia and Decatur. Shumpert was also ordered to pay $8,000 a month in child support. He will also cover the costs of private school for Junie and Rue.
Although the sum was not revealed, Shumpert will also retain his portion of invested income in he and Taylor’s business ventures.
Now that their divorce proceedings are finally finalized, it will be good to see Taylor and Shumpert co-parent successfully, putting their differences aside for Junie and Rue.
