Congratulations to Ella Mai and Jayson Tatum, who have welcomed their first child together.
The duo were spotted taking family photos with their newborn baby and Jayson’s son, Deuce, after the USA men’s basketball team clinched its fifth straight Olympic gold medal on Saturday.
Ella was seen holding the new born as she posed alongside Jayson and his family.
The “Boo’d Up” singer first sparked pregnancy rumors in June when she debuted her growing baby bump while celebrating Jayson’s first NBA championship win with the Boston Celtics.
Until that moment, the couple kept their pregnancy news under wraps, leaving their fans pleasantly surprised.
Baby Tatum is the first child for Ella Mai and the second for Jayson.
Tatum became a father at just 19 years old when he welcomed his son, Deuce, with his ex-girlfriend Toriah Lachell on December 7, 2017.

Reflecting on his early days as a father during a post-game press conference in 2022, Tatum shared, “My mindset was not to sacrifice either. I was going to be the best father as well as the best basketball player. There was no guideline or there was no exact way to do it. It was all about what was natural.”
He continued, “I think being able to go through this journey together … I was 19 when I got drafted, it’s kind of like we’re growing up together. As he’s gotten older, I’m going through my career and [we’re] experiencing this together. I think it’s the coolest part for me.”

Deuce has since become a beloved figure in the basketball world, often capturing the hearts of fans wherever he goes
“Every time he comes to a home game, people cheer when they see him,” Tatum shared with The Boston Globe in 2022. “They scream his name when he comes to games on the road and here at All-Star [Weekend]. He has his own personality.”
Jayson, 26, and Ella, 29, have been romantically linked since 2019. Despite the lack of public confirmation, the pair has been spotted together on numerous occasions over the past years.
