DDG and Halle Bailey have finally shared the first photos of their adorable son, Halo. The couple took to Instagram to post a series of heartwarming snaps, delighting fans with a glimpse of their family life.
In his post, DDG shared a loving family photo, captioned, “La familia ♥️ who Halo look like more?”
Halle also posted a set of pictures from their trip to Italy, writing, “Halo’s first time in Italy.”
For months, the proud parents had chosen to shield their son from the limelight, sharing only partial glimpses of his face, arms, and legs. In a previous YouTube vlog, DDG had hinted at his son’s good looks, and now the world can see why.
Reflecting on his son’s appearance, DDG proudly described Halo as a handsome baby, one who could instantly grace a Huggies box.
“He’s great-looking. Think of a handsome kid, handsome child, newborn by the way. No features ain’t even fully developed. Just think about it, think about the most handsomest kid in the world, blend me and her looks together, but think of him as being the best features of us possible. That’s what he looks like. He’s a beautiful baby and a healthy baby.”
The rapper also shared his thoughts on fatherhood and how his newborn son with Halle Bailey has transformed his life.
Speaking candidly, DDG revealed that becoming a father has brought him a renewed sense of purpose and heightened motivation. “I feel like I found a whole new purpose in life. I feel like a different type of motivation right now. Like, my motivation is through the roof. I’m like, ‘Man, I don’t ever want my kid to ever want for nothing. I don’t ever want him to even think about asking for anything. He already got it, you feel me?'”
On Sunday, during the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles, Halle Bailey spoke with ET’s Deidre Behar about her baby boy’s latest milestone. “Oh my gosh! Me and his daddy, we’re laughing as his teeth are coming out,” Bailey, 24, said. “He has two little teeth on the bottom poking out and I was crying when I saw that.”
Motherhood has been “so beautiful” for Bailey, who couldn’t be more in love with her son. “It’s been so beautiful,” she gushed. “I mean, I’ve never been more in love with something, someone in my life. I just look at him and I just can’t believe he’s mine. I’m just so grateful.”
