Chrissy Teigen sees technology as a “wonderful addition” to her parenting toolbox and she is “all for it.”
While talking to People Magazine about her new partnership with T-Mobile for its new Nada Yada Island campaign, the 38-year-old model talked about tapping into tech to keep the kids busy and learning.
“We do a lot of learning apps for them that we think are great,” she said in her interview. She added that, her eight-year-old daughter Luna is becoming bilingual in Spanish by using the language app, Duolingo.
“We’re finding it to be a really wonderful addition to the other things she gets to do. And yeah, it’s technology, but it’s really wonderful for her.”
Teigen continued, “Honestly, I’m all for technology. I know a lot of people have big reactions to iPad time or TV time and things like that.”
“Kids do so many different activities, especially during the school year,” the Cravings by Chrissy Teigen founder said. “They’re so busy doing activities during the week that we don’t mind them having a little downtime on the weekends.”
The Sports Illustrated model went on to say that making technology a part of her parenting toolbox has created new opportunities for bonding with her children, especially her eldest son Miles’ interest in playing Roblox.
“He just kind of discovered that world, and I find it to be really interesting because I grew up gaming. I still game. I still have my Nintendo Switch … I grew up being online and I grew up with a lot of games, so I don’t mind them having fun with things like that too.”
Teigen shares her children: Luna (8), Miles, (6), Esti (17 months), Wren (six months) with EGOT-winner, John Legend.
