Ella Mai is pregnant! The singer was spotted with a baby bump after her boo, Jayson Tatum, led his Celtic’s team to championship victory on Monday.
On Monday night, the Boston Celtics snagged their first NBA championship since 2008, and all eyes were on Jayson Tatum, the team’s standout forward, who was visibly moved as he relished the crowning achievement of his career.
After the game, Tatum shared a heartwarming hug with his six-year-old son, Jayson Christopher Tatum Jr. a.k.a. Deuce.
The father-son duo, always inseparable, stayed side-by-side on the court as confetti rained around them. When Tatum addressed the media, he was asked about the touching exchange with Deuce.
“He told me that I was the best in the world. I said, ‘You’re damn right I am,'” said Tatum.
Tatum, who became a dad at 19, has made Deuce a regular presence at NBA games. “Every time he comes to a home game, people cheer when they see him,” Tatum shared with The Boston Globe in 2022. “They scream his name when he comes to games on the road and here at All-Star [Weekend]. He has his own personality.”
Since being drafted third overall by the Celtics in 2017, Tatum’s rise has been fueled by relentless dedication and sheer determination. Over the last seven years, he has cemented his status as one of the NBA’s elite, earning All-NBA First Team honors for three straight seasons. Despite his personal successes, a championship had remained elusive—until now.
Jayson and Ella Mai have been linked since 2020, though they’ve kept their romance under wraps. Despite the lack of public confirmation, the pair has been spotted together on numerous occasions over the past four years.
From attending Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fourth of July bash in 2022 to ringing in Mai’s 29th birthday in New York, their connection is undeniable. Mai’s courtside appearance at a Celtics game in December 2022 only fueled the speculation further.
