Teyana Taylor recently enjoyed brunch with her favorite girls- her daughters Junie, 8, and Rue, 3.
The musician took to Instagram on Tuesday to share photos from the outing. She captioned, “Brunch’n with my favorite girlllllllssssss, my bestiesssssssss.”
Fans couldn’t help but notice Taylor’s incredible physique and enviable washboard abs as she posed with her little ones. But according to the star herself, it’s her daughters who deserve the credit for helping her stay in shape.
“Dancing with my kids is really what does it for me,” Taylor reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “They keep me so active and I love to dance.”
When it comes to her diet, Taylor doesn’t believe in restrictions. In a previous interview with Us in December 2023, she admitted, “I love food” and doesn’t “think too much” about calories.
Taylor shares her two children with her estranged husband, NBA player Iman Shumpert. The two have been embroiled in a highly publicized divorce battle for months now. In January 2023, Teyana filed for divorce and since then, tensions have escalated.
Recent reports from RadarOnline.com shed light on the contentious legal proceedings, with Taylor alleging that Shumpert had not paid “one cent of child support … for anything for the minor children such as food, clothing, shoes, grooming, extracurricular activities, or anything else, other than the oldest minor child’s tuition” since their split.
In response, Shumpert vehemently denied the accusations, asserting that he has consistently provided financial support for his children.
His legal team also refuted Taylor’s claims, saying, “The likely reason why [Taylor] has not demanded child support is because [Shumpert] has handsomely provided financial support for his children and his family, including but not limited to providing a luxurious home and utilities. [Shumpert] denies that he has obstructed any efforts toward settlement of this case by agreement.”
