Comedian Kevin Hart and his daughter, Heaven, have teamed up with Chase Freedom to promote financial literacy among young people, all while championing the Chase Freedom Rise credit card.
Through a series of “Family Huddle” videos, the father-daughter duo will address crucial topics such as Heaven’s first credit card and managing expenses for college.
Hart posted the first clip on his Instagram with the caption, “Debit or Credit? Credit or Debit? Back at it again with my favorite co-star to discuss the importance of building credit early. Not all payment types are created equal, and I get excited to support her on the journey to developing savvy financial habits. #chasepartner #familyhuddle”
With a net worth of $450 million, Kevin Hart recognizes the significance of effective money management. Partnering with Chase Freedom partner since 2019, he is committed to using his platform to advocate for financial literacy.
Hart, 44, told ESSENCE, “I jumped at the opportunity to work on this campaign with Chase Freedom and my daughter, Heaven, because her financial journey is just starting so there’s no better time than now to start having an honest conversation about finances.”
He then continued, “It’s critical for Black youth to understand the importance of their financial responsibilities so they can set themselves up for financial success, stability, and get ahead on their financial goals. It’s not something that happens overnight and that’s why my daughter, Heaven, has a Freedom Rise card that’s the perfect steppingstone for her credit journey.”
Heaven is the only daughter of Kevin Hart and his ex-wife, Torrei Hart. Following in her dad’s footsteps, Heaven has had aspirations to be in showbiz since she was 11. She not only wants to be a superstar, she also plans to obtain a college degree — she is currently enrolled in college.
