Jimmie Allen has grown his family by two. The country star quietly welcomed twins with another woman, amid his divorce, from wife, Alexis Gale Allen. Now, the singer is a proud father of six.

Earlier in the week, the “Down Home” singer shared images of his six children: son Aadyn, 9, from a previous relationship, and daughters Naomi, 4, and Zara, 2, and son, Cohen 5 months, with whom he shares with 28-year-old estranged wife Alexis.

The singer also shared first photos of his twins daughter, Aria and son, Amari, 9 months, who were born last summer.

To culminate his slideshow of images of his children, Allen posted an additional slide saying, “I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs.”

Perhaps his last post in the series was an attempt to shut down public opinion about his familiar situation. 

Allen and Alexis were happily married in June of 2020. The couple dropped a double bombshell announcement three years later, in April of 2023. They first told the public that they were expecting Cohen and then they stated that they were separating.

According to documents obtained by People Magazine, Allen officially filed for divorce from his wife on April 28, 2023, with his wife filing her own suite a few hours after. Both Alexis and Allen cited, “irreconcilable differences,” as the reason that they were seeking the disillusionment of their marriage. 

However, that was not the only Allen news for that day. The news also broke that the “Make Me Want To” singer was also being sued by his former manager for assault and sexual abuse. At the time, Allen denied the claims. The case was recently settled.

Shortly after their divorce filings, in May, Allen issued a public apology to his wife on social media saying that he was sorry “for humiliating her with my affair. I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That’s something that she did not deserve at all.”
