Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’Oir Davis celebrated their daughter’s first birthday yesterday. The couple took to social media to share pictures of their baby girl and to extend their heartfelt wishes.
In an Instagram post, Gucci expressed, “At 8:42am FEBRUARY 8th, 2023 our princess ICELAND KA’OIR DAVIS was born! Happy Birthday Princess! Wow u are the big ONE today! Such a happy, pleasant, beautiful baby! We love u princess.”
Keyshia also shared, “Wow my lil princess 1 year old HappyBirthday Iceland Davis Daddy love you so much!! 2/8/23.”
She lovingly referred to her daughter as “My sunshine, My princess, My pride & joy, My baby, My lil Iceland. Mommy loves you.”
Iceland is the second child for Gucci and Keyshia, following the birth of their son, Ice Davis, in December 2020.
Gucci Mane is also a father to his eldest son, Keitheon, from a previous relationship, while Keyshia Ka’Oir has three children, two daughters, and a son from a previous relationship.
Keyshia has faced persistent rumors suggesting she has hidden her older children in Jamaica, her home country. However, she addressed these rumors during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show in 2017, explaining, “I left Jamaica at 10 years old after seeing my dad be brutally murdered,” she revealed. “I came to America at 10, [and] did all my schooling here. There’s no way I would have three kids at 10. It just doesn’t make sense.”
In a separate interview with the Breakfast Club, she emphasized that she prefers to keep her kids out of the limelight.
“It’s a situation where I’m proud to be a mother, but … I don’t need the kids in the limelight, I don’t want them on social media,” she said. “I need them to go to school and just be children. They all live with us. And we have a blended family, and we have fun and they are spoiled, and they are happy.”
