Nick Cannon isn’t planning on having more kids anytime soon. In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, the multi-talented star revealed that he’s currently “chilling” and has “no plans” to expand his family.
“”It’s so funny, everybody’s always trying to get me to have more kids,” he joked. “It’s like, 12 ain’t enough?”
However, the Masked Singer host isn’t against the idea of having a thirteenth child. To him, “Thirteen is a good number; it’s definitely a lucky number.”
After a busy holiday season with all of his kids, Cannon is gearing up for spring break and his kids’ extracurricular activities.
“So, a lot of getting back outside again, a lot of basketball starting back up, and just a lot of sports and outdoor activities,” he shared. “As a dad, that’s the kind of stuff you structure your schedule around, all of your kids’ extracurricular activities.”
Reflecting on the joys of fatherhood, Nick Cannon finds the most rewarding moments in hearing his kids say, “I love you, daddy.”
“There’s nothing better than that,” he adds, emphasizing the significance of “big hugs” and “picking them up from school.”
Cannon’s extensive list of offspring includes twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
He is also a father to two children with Alyssa Scott – daughter Halo Marie Cannon and son Zen, who sadly who died at 5 months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer
