Lil Wayne’s kids, Reginae Carter and Kameron Carter, were court side at the Lakers Vs Grizzlies a few days ago. Before heading to the highly anticipated basketball game, Reginae gave fans an exclusive glimpse into her world through a behind-the-scenes vlog on her YouTube channel.
Excitement filled the air as she prepared for the outing, sharing the details of her original plans to attend the game with her dad, Lil Wayne, and her brother Kameron. However, a sudden illness prevented Wayne from joining them.
“My daddy don’t feel good,” she shared in the video.
Despite the setback, Reginae, joined by Kameron and friend Asia, made the most of their courtside experience, sharing moments on social media with the caption “Court side Kickin’ It.”
Adding an entertaining twist to their adventure, the trio transformed into self-proclaimed “NBA Commentators,” providing their own commentary to the game.
Ultimately, the Grizzlies emerged victorious, sparking excitement from Reginae, who expressed, “I was going for the Grizzlies because..i always rep the young generation.”
Reginae is Lil Wayne’s oldest child with reality star Toya Johnson-Rushing. Wayne has three other children, which includes Dwayne Carter III, Kameron Carter and Neal Carter. He shares them Sarah Vivian, actress Lauren London and singer Nivea., respectively.
Reflecting on his journey to parenthood, Lil Wayne openly discussed becoming a father at the age of 14 while receiving the Global Impact Award from the Recording Academy’s Black Music Collective last year.
“I walked into my momma room and I was 14. She asked me for a kid because my dad was killed,” the rapper shared. “Her son had just blew up and went on his first tour. We did not know that was gonna be six months.”
He continued, “I’d like to thank Antonia Johnson. For reasoning with me and my mom, and my life. I’d like to thank every single one of my kids and every single one of their mothers.”
