DMX’S KIDS PAY TRIBUTE TO HIM ON LATE RAPPER’S BIRTHDAY

On what would have been DMX’s 53rd birthday, his kids and loved ones paid heartfelt tributes to honor the late Ruff Ryders legend.

Desiree Lindstrom, DMX’s fiancée, shared a touching moment on Instagram, posting a video of their 7-year-old son Exodus playing a piano cover of his father’s iconic hit, “X Gon’ Give It To Ya.”

In the caption, she expressed her ongoing thoughts for DMX and declared, “Happy Birthday Earl! Thinking of you always, but especially today. You were New York!!! Exodus tribute to you! (X gonna give it to ya) We love you baby! #ForeverX.”

Sonovah Jr., DMX’s daughter with Sonovah Hillman Sr., chose a simple yet poignant way to celebrate her father’s birthday, sharing a throwback photo on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Birthday 12/18/70.”

Z’riyah Simmons and Emmanuel Simmons, DMX’s children with Yadira Borrego, also paid heartfelt tributes. Z’riyah expressed, “Happy birthday, dad. I love you, and I hope heaven is treating you well.”

Emmanuel shared a touching message, saying, “Happy birthday, dad. I love you so much, and I’m going to keep on making you proud every day. I know you’re watching me and my siblings, and I know we’re going to be straight. I miss you, and I love you so much.”

DMX’s ex-wife joined in commemorating the legendary rapper, representing the four children they shared together. She posted a photo declaring, “Gone but you will never be forgotten. Your children will continue to carry your legacy.”

She added in the caption, “Happy Heavenly birthday to one of mankind’s greatest who has ever done it! Your words will never go in vain. Continue to rest easy and peacefully… We Got this!”

DMX, real name Earl Simmons, passed away in New York on April 19, 2021, leaving behind 15 kids and a goddaughter named Paige Hurd.
