Sean “Diddy” Combs’ eldest daughter, Chance Combs, is headed to her dream college: Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (NYU).
On Saturday, Chance’s mom, Sarah Chapman, revealed that her daughter secured admission to the prestigious school and is now officially a part of the NYU class of 2028.
“I’m so proud of your hard work and dedication Chance,” Chapman wrote in her Instagram stories.
Chance Combs also shared the news of her admission on instagram, saying, “Dreams do come true.”
Ever the supportive father, Diddy showered his daughter with flowers and a heartfelt note attached.
The note read, “Congratulations, Baby! So proud of you! NYU! Let’s Gooo Chance! Love you so much! Love, Daddy.”
For Chance, acting has been a lifelong passion, starting as early as five years old when she began taking theater and improv classes.
In a recent interview with V Magazine for their summer 2023 issue, she told the outlet, “Acting has helped me evolve more as a person, and it’s helped me step out of my comfort zone.”
Chance attributed her drive and determination to her upbringing as the child of the influential music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“Growing up, we’ve always been around different artists and in the studio with our dad,” Chance shared. “Even though we don’t want to pursue music right now, just seeing his work ethic and persistence has definitely been a big contributor to the drive we have to pursue our dreams.”
Looking ahead, the 17-year-old budding actress hopes to make a name for herself in the world of entertainment. In a red carpet interview at the 2022 Oscars, she shared that Zendaya “is one of my biggest inspirations and someone that I really want to work with in the future.”
In addition Chance, Diddy is dad to 32-year-old Quincy Brown, sons Justin Dior, 29, and King, 25, twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James, who turn 17 later this month, and daughter Love Sean, 13 months.
