Brat Loves Judy: The Baby Special is set to premiere on Thursday, November 30 at 9 pm ET, exclusively on WE tv. The five-part special promises to deliver an up-close and personal look into the couple’s incredible journey into parenthood.
Through never-before-seen self-shot footage, social media clips, interviews, and storytelling, we’ll witness the most private moments of their journey. Each episode is structured like a ‘story book’ chapter, one they’ll lovingly narrate for their baby so that, in the future, he can look back his first few months of life.
Da Brat and Judy welcomed their son, True Legend Harris-Dupart, in July of this year. Jesseca, already a mother to three children from previous relationships, chose to have Da Brat carry True to enable her partner to fully immerse herself in the experience of motherhood.
“She’s one of the most nurturing people that I know,” Judy told ET’s Kevin Frazier while the host visited the couple’s home recently. “So I felt like she deserved the full experience… I knew she would love and appreciate all the parts of it. You know, like, finally seeing the baby and ultrasound and finally feeling the baby kick and the relationship that you’ve developed while growing a baby inside of you.”
The 49-year-old rapper enjoyed every minute of getting to bond with her “SONshine” throughout the motherhood experience.
“I love it. I love being a mom. It is a job though, you know, but I love being a mom. I feel super blessed that God chose me to be somebody’s parent. After all these years, I didn’t think it was in the cards for me, so I’m ecstatic about it.”
