Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, and their daughter Kaavia James got into the Halloween spirit this year, and they had some extra special company to make it even more memorable – Tia Mowry and her kids!
For this year’s Halloween, Wade and Union dressed up as a “hood” version of “peanut butter” and “jelly” sandwich.
But the real star of the Wade family was little Kaavia, who wore a Cinderella-themed princess dress, complete with a candy necklace.
Union shared a series of photos of Kaavia on her Instagram, captioning them,”Our princess everyday of the year.”

As for Tia Mowry and her kids Cree and Cairo, they decided to take a different route, going intergalactic with their alien-themed costumes. Tia shared their out-of-this-world outfits on Instagram, writing, “It’s your friendly neighborhood intergalactic aliens popping in to say.”
She added, “We hope you had a Halloween that was simply out of this world.”
After posing for some epic photos, the two families headed out for a night of trick-or-treating. Mowry couldn’t help but gush about the experience on Instagram. Under a photo of Kaavia and her daughter Cairo, she wrote,”The best freaking time! Cinderella and the Alien are literally always a joy!”
She continued, “Seeing them dance and laugh together always leaves me in my feels. Thanks for having us!”
Tia recently spoke about the “beautiful dynamic” between Cairo and Kaavia in an interview with Knocturnal Magazine.
She shared that she and Gabrielle Union “are very intentional when it comes to the playgroup that the kids have.”
“What I mean by that is that we are both very passionate about our community and we are both very passionate about representation,” she explained.
Tia went on to emphasize the positive influence Kaavia has had on her daughter’s life, revealing that “Cairo learned how to swim and wanted to swim because of Kaavia.”
