“Eighteen years ago my life changed,” Mendeecess told his social media fans. “I went from being selfish to selfless and you are the reason,” the celebrity father wrote to his son. “I would never be the same,” Mendeecees shared.

The recording artist went on to reflect on his upbringing and the environment he works to cultivate for his kids. “I never knew what it was like growing up with a father or a father figure,” Mendeecees wrote. “However, you’ll never experience that because I’ll be with you until the day I die and even when I’m gone my voice will be in your head while you go through your journey of this thing we call life,” the celebrity dad shared.

“I know you’ll be a great dad one day to your kids and make me proud,” Mendeecees wrote to his son. “Happy birthday young King.”

Lil Mendeecees commented on his dad’s birthday message. “Love you, dad,” the young adult shared. “Thank you for all you do and your teachings,” he continued. “I know I’m going to be something because of you.”

YouTube is warming up to Lil Mendeecees and his pranks. So far, the youngster has taken his father’s car to school and pretended to smoke. Lil Mendeecees vowed to not prank his stepmother, Yandy Smith-Harris, after she called his father.

Several viewers admonished Lil Mendeecees to cool it with the tricks after watching Yandy’s meltdown. “Not once did she curse or spiral out of control,” wrote one supporter. “She had the normal reaction of a loving mother who is genuinely hurt.”

Another fan said, “I wish you wouldn’t have done this. Coming from someone who isn’t a Yandy fan I’m not biased just because I’m fanning, she has her personality flaws but as a mother and entrepreneur I see the impact this can cause and I wouldn’t wish that on even an enemy. We know you are a beautifully raised boy we see that, so just be mindful of the impact of your pranks, especially with having a famous family…. With that said it definitely displayed her human vulnerability in a relatable way. So not completely a fail.”
