Khloe Kardashian isays her son Tatum Thompson reminds her of her own father, the late Robert Kardashian, and her brother.

It is no secret that Khloe and her sisters were very close to the late famed attorney and businessman. In a 2021 interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 39-year-old got candid about what she learned from her father about parenthood.
“We were all so close to my dad,” she said in her interview. “My dad definitely worked all the time, but looking back at it I never noticed that. He was with us all the time, and I think just had a really good way of balancing work and taking care of his kids and being there. He was there for all of our sporting events, any plays, any of that kind of stuff.”
The Kardashians reality star also told Clarkson that her father, prior to his death in 2003 from esophageal cancer, encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone and try new things.
She added, “He was such a great dad.”
Kardashian welcomed her son Tatum to the world in July of 2022 via a surrogate. In the beginning Kardashian was completely honest and open about her guilt surrounding surrogacy.
“But a surrogate process—Kim [Kardashian] knows—is very hard for me. It’s a mindf#@k. It is really the weirdest thing,” Kardashian said to Scott Disick in a conversation on her family reality show, The Kardashians. “[I do feel less connected]. People do say it takes a minute to feel connected but Kim said hers was easy. This is not easy.”
Later on in the episode of the Hulu series, Kardashian said that, she “… definitely buried my head in the sand during that pregnancy that I didn’t digest what was happening. So I think when I went to the hospital that was the first time it really wp-signup.phped. It has nothing to do with the baby.”
As time has passed, Kardashian has grown to truly love her son unconditionally saying that he was the gift from God that she “needed”.
“God knew my heart needed you,” Kardashian penned in her birthday message to Tatum. “Happy birthday, my sweet son! I am a firm believer in that God gives you what you need and I needed you. God knew my heart needed you. I needed your sweet and precious Smile. I needed your angelic spirit. I needed a love only you could give me. I needed my son.”
In addition to Tatum, Kardashian also shares five-year-old daughter True Thompson with NBA star Tristan Thompson.
