Marques Houston and his wife, Miya, have plenty of reasons to celebrate these days. Recently, the couple commemorated their third wedding anniversary alongside their daughter Zara Houston.

“This past August was such a blessing. @iammiyahouston and I celebrated 3 years of marriage at one of our favorite places. This anniversary was extra special and I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone but you baby 😍 Thank you for my gifts baby. And most importantly, thank you for you unconditional love! I look forward to spending forever with you. And our new baby,” Marques wrote on Instagram last week.
Earlier this month, the couple shared that they are expecting their second child on their respective Instagram pages with a video reel of Miya during a maternity photoshoot.
“Here we grow again,” they captioned the reel.
Marques and Miya’s love story began in 2018 when they met at a Jehovah’s Witness event. Just five months into their relationship, they got engaged in March 2019 and eventually tied the knot on August 24, 2020, in California. Despite initial concerns regarding their 19-year age difference, Marques and Miya have proved that their love is stronger than any doubts.
“Miya and I didn’t start dating until she was an adult,” Marques shared in 2020. “We fell in love and got engaged in March of 2019. My dad Michael loves her, and the people I am closest to all love her as well. Most importantly we have Jehovahs blessing.”
He continued, “There is so much more to be concerned about in the world, than creating rumors about me. No twists, no turns, no scandals, just true love. There is nothing that can come to light, because there’s no darkness in my life. You wanted the truth. I don’t have anything to hide.”
The Houston’s first child, a daughter named Zara Denise, was born in December 2021.
