Erica Mena and Bambi were among three Love and Hip Hop (LHH) stars arrested after an evening out at a lounge in Buckhead turned violent. The celebrity moms were charged with everything from obstruction to battery on a police officer on Saturday (Aug. 25).
The details surrounding the brawl continue to develop. Some eyewitnesses, however, accused Erica of drunkenness that led to the fight. Bambi and LHH star Zellswag were charged with obstruction. Erica Mena was arrested and booked for both obstruction and battery of a police officer.
Bambi and Erica have endured life-changing events while under the public’s scrutiny. It was two years ago that Erica filed to divorce her husband, Safaree, after accusing him of infidelity. The LHH star was pregnant with their son at the time.
It appeared at one point that Safaree and Erica would work through their issues to repair the relationship. The LHH stars, however, finalized their divorce last year.
Bambi is also dealing with the reality of marriage dissolution. She and Scrappy moved to head for divorce court earlier this year.
Some may remember Bambi exchanging harsh words with Scrappy’s oldest daughter, Emani, and her mother, Erixa Dixon, a few months ago. It was during her apology that Bambi revealed her pending divorce.
“I have been doing my best to hold it together through my divorce,” the LHH star wrote online. “I was triggered and responded emotionally and publicly,” Bambi said of the argument she had with Erica and Emani on social media. “I am not proud of it and I apologize to everyone I hurt and disappointed,” the celebrity mom shared with her supporters.
“I’m gonna (sic) take some time to get it together and work on being my favorite version of myself,” Bambi promised. “It won’t be perfect, but it will be me.”
