Successful co-parenting is something that truly takes hard work and dedication. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, 35-year-old Blac Chyna opened up about her co-parenting journey with her children’s fathers, Rob Kardashian and Tyga.
Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, shares six-year-old daughter, Dream with Rob Kardashian and 10-year-old son, King with Tiga. In her interview, the model revealed that she is on good terms with both men, stating that “time heals everything.”
“I feel like with everything — time heals everything, and people change, and situations change, and you get to see the situation for what it is, and that situation is Dream,” Chyna said referencing her once turbulent relationship with the only Kardashian son.
The entrepreneur goes on to say, “And also too, let’s not leave out King and also co-parenting with Michael [Tyga] too, with King, so I feel like, as long as my kids are good and happy on both sides, that’s all I care about as a parent.”
She concluded stating that, “My kids are really smart and they have common sense and they’re the sweetest people, like little people, so they’re gonna be good, just them in general. I don’t ever worry when they go over to the other parents’ house cause it’s like, ‘What are they doing over there?’ But I’m like, ‘Nah, my kids are good. They’re pretty smart.'”
If you remember, about a month ago, Khloe Kardashian made a “controversial” statement on her hit Hulu television show, The Kardashians. The 39-year-old mother-of-two said that she’s like a “third parent” to her niece, Dream.
Blac Chyna immediately responded to the “negativity” to TMZ saying that, “Everything is good on both ends, we are all family at the end of the day. Robert and myself are co-parenting the best we can and it’s all love and positivity,” she said. “As mentioned, it takes a village to raise a child and I’m happy that Dream has a huge village full of love from both sides. As a mother that’s all I ask for. Let’s stop dragging the negativity on and all move forward.”
Apparently, Blac Chyna is doing more than taking her own advice, she is putting it into action. She is successfully showing us all that co-parenting doesn’t have to be hard.
