Blue Ivy Carter continues to be the star of her mom’s tour. The youngster showed out in front of Vice President Kamala Harris and the Obamas during Beyoncè’s D.C. stop on her Renaissance Tour.
Blue delivered all of the right moves with pure confidence. The youngster was sure to wave to her fans who cheered as she exited the stage after her segment.
“Everyone judged her too soon,” one BCK fan wrote in reference to Blue’s beginning compared to her delivery in D.C. “She just had to get used to performing and in front of that big of a crowd. She’s loosened up a lot and still dances appropriately for her age.”
Another supporter wrote, “Imagine being 11 [years old] and performing all over the world in front of the most prominent people in the world. Go Blue!”
Blue Ivy Carter has been on tour with her mom since the beginning stages of the Renaissance Tour. The youngster’s first performance was noticeably different from the energy she has brought to the stage during the most recent stops.
“She’s having the time of her life, and I couldn’t be more proud of her because she really worked hard,” Blue’s grandmother, Tina Lawson, shared during a recent interview. “She is 11 years old, and she had one week to prepare, and she’s just getting better and better,” Lawson continued. “I’m the proud grandma, always.”
Blue Ivy Carter has received the support of her mom onstage and that of her father and siblings from the crowd. In fact, Jay-Z was captured while cheering on his oldest daughter during one of the tour stops. Blue’s younger sister, Rumi, was also celebrating from the crowd.
Beyoncè’s Renaissance Tour comes to Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday (Aug. 9). She comes to the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, next month.
