Alfonso Ribeiro celebrates fourth of July with wife and kids in Washington D.C.
The 51-year-old Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum and wife Angela enjoyed the fourth of July holiday in the capital of our nation with their children: four-year-old daughter Ava Sue and sons eight-year-old Anders Reyn and nine-year-old Alfonso “AJ” Lincoln.
Angela and the children were able to enjoy the capital as tourists while Ribeiro was busy preparing for his hosting duties for the PBS A Capitol Fourth concert special.
“What a fun few days in DC for the @july4thpbs!” the mother of three captioned a video of their D.C. adventures on Instagram. “From dancing, singing, fireworks, & being tourists, it was certainly an epic 4th! A big thank you to everyone at #capitalfourthpbs!”
The America’s Funniest Home Videos host also posted a video prior to heading to work, talking about homeschooling and traveling around the country with his children. There’s no better way to learn!
“I travel all the time. The beauty of being an RVer is you get to go wherever you want,” he said. “Nothing stops you from getting there. We look at it purely as educational and enjoyable. So when the kids are doing something in their studies, we will go see it and learn about it. Those experiences for our kids are incredible because it’s something that’s real.”
Additionally, @july4thpbs commented on the video as well on their official account.

July 4th wasn’t the only thing that the Ribeiro’s had to celebrate this holiday. Recently, The Dancing With the Stars co-host gave an update on his daughter Ava Sue’s recovery from her scooter accident saying that “She’s recovering wonderfully. The progress is coming along as we expected. It’s a long, long process. But she’s doing wonderful.”
