WHAT IS A MOMMY MAKEOVER? FANS WANT TO KNOW AFTER JACKY OH!’S DEATH

The world was stunned at the death this week of Ms. Jacky Oh!, the longtime partner of Wild ‘N Out star DC Young Fly. The mother of three, according to TMZ, died in Miami at the age of 32. Although details surrounding her death have not been made public, in a now deleted social media post, Ms. Jacky Oh! was about to undergo a “mommy makeover.” What exactly is a mommy makeover? According to the North Raleigh Plastic Surgery website, a “mommy makeover” refers to a series of procedures performed in the same surgical session that aims to improve the appearance of areas most affected by childbearing.

The procedures in a mommy makeover are tailored to each patient on an individual basis according to what they want to accomplish with their new look. Makeover procedures can include:

  • Breast augmentation
  • Breast lift
  • Breast reduction
  • Liposuction
  • Tummy tuck
  • Mini tummy tuck
  • Brazilian butt lift
  • Labiaplasty
  • Non-surgical procedures

The site goes on to suggest that mothers should wait at least six-weeks after the birth of their child to have a makeover and mother’s should only do so if they are finished having children as to not undo the benefits of their procedures.

On average, a “mommy makeover” can cost anywhere from $20,000 +, depending on the chosen procedures.

Upon Ms Jacky Oh!’s death, who’s real name is Jacklyn Smith, her family released a statement, confirming the sad news.

“It is with sadden (sic) hearts we share with you that Jakclyn aka MsJackyOh has passed away on Wednesday, May 31st 2023,” the statement read. “Our family is still processing this very tragic and unexpected loss; we ask that you please give us privacy during this time.”

Smith’s thirtyone-year old partner, Wild ‘N Out star DC Young Fly, was reportedly was informed of the ex-Wild ‘N Out model’s death while in Atlanta, filming new episodes of the Nick Cannon-created hit television show.

Cannon and The BET Media Group extended their condolences on social media.

DC Young Fly and Smith met on the Wild ‘N Out set in 2015 and are parents to three children: daughters Nova and Nala, and son Prince, who was born last year.
