Amina Buddadfly and her daughter, Cori Gunz, are capturing hearts and bringing people to tears online. The celebrity mom and her little one recently rendered a version of ‘A Whole New World’ by Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott that was nothing short of beautiful.
Cori began the selection with the first verse. Amina joined her daughter in singing before handing the moment back off to Cori. The mother and daughter ended the song together.
“Let me brighten up your day,” Amina Buddafly told her social media fans. “Cori recently performed in an #Aladdin musical at her school and we decided to sing this song together because we are obsessed with #disney film music.”
Dozens of fans were consumed by Amina and Cori’s duet. “That was so beautifully done from the both of you all,” one social media follower shared. “It made me tear up just a little watching the video,” the supporter added. “I love it.”
Another fan took note of Cori’s passion when performing. “She sings with such passion and emotion,” the Instagram follower exclaimed. “So beautiful.”
Cori and her sister Bronx are certainly following in their mom’s footsteps when it comes to music. Amina recently shared her plans to release a new album in honor of her fortieth birthday. The recording artist successfully produced the project last month.
“I’m proud of myself because I can create something amazing with no help,” Amina shared during a recent interview with Trustworthy magazine. “Self-care,” the celebrity mom shared when discussing how she manages it all.
“That’s the number one thing in my life,” Amina added. “I literally put that over everything except my kids,” the celebrity mom continued. “I put that before my work because without self-care, I can’t function or work right. First, I’ve got to do my yoga, meditation, be silent, and then I get to what I want to accomplish.”
Cori is the oldest of Amina Buddafly’s two daughters with Peter Gunz. The youngster celebrates her ninth birthday this year.
