Emani Richardson is going to Savannah State University! Scrappy revealed his daughter’s college choice in an Instagram post that celebrated the young adult’s hard work.
“Grateful,” Scrappy shared with his social media fans. “I’m on a plane inna (sic) air and my daughter @official_emanii my young Queen just signed her sig (sic) to her school she will be attending next,” the proud dad doted.
“I’m so proud of my baby,” Scrappy said. “She has worked her butt off to get here,” he added. “Now we finna (sic) go to the next level and that’s young adulting. So I’m ready. Let’s go princess.”
Emani’s grandmother, Momma Dee (real name Deborah Bryant), also took to Instagram to congratulate Emani. “Yes,” the proud grandma shared in the comments section of Scrappy’s post. “My granddaughter is on the winning side,” Momma Dee added. “Thank you, Jesus, for your many blessings.”
Emani is reaping the harvest of her hard work. It was just this past weekend that the young adult, who turned eighteen years old in March, attended the prom.
“We stand on business and never half-step,” Emani said of her style for the evening. “But y’all already knew that,” the young adult added.
Emani’s black gown matched the white Mercedes-Benz truck that served as her transportation to the prom. The youngster struck several poses that were both fierce and elegant.
Erica Dixon took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter going to prom. “I’m so grateful to my family who came together and made this day special for my baby,” the celebrity mom shared. “It’s been a long time coming but we are here by the grace of God,” Erica wrote online.
“The last time all of us were in one place together … Nevermind y’all know the story,” Dixon mused in her celebratory message. “@official_emanii, I can’t express how proud of you I am,” Erica wrote to her daughter. “You’re such a beautiful, blossoming young lady. I see so much of me in you and I couldn’t be happier. Glow on baby girl!”
Emani is Erica Dixon and Scrappy’s only child together. Both Scrappy and Erica have younger children from other relationships. Classes begin at Savannah State University on August 14, 2023.
