Tia Mowry continues to navigate the path of single parenthood. The actress took to Instagram on Thursday (Apr. 20) to celebrate her life as a mom.
“If I’m being completely honest with you all, these last few months have been some of the hardest of my life,” Tia told her social media fans. “There’s no telling what direction life is going to take you and nothing but one thing is ever certain: the love I have for these two,” Mowry said of her son, Cree, and daughter, Cairo.
“They are the reason I continue to push myself every day to work harder,” Tia shared regarding her kids. “Even when the going gets tough, I do everything for my kids, for their future, and for the generations to come.”
Tia Mowry shared her decision to divorce her husband, Cory Hardrict, last year. “These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness,” Tia told her social media fans. “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives,” Mowry shared.
Tia spoke with the press about her pending divorce weeks after her Instagram announcement shocked her supporters. “At the end of the day, it’s about self-love,” Mowry shared.
“When you start to really work on yourself, love yourself, know your value, and know your worth, then all of a sudden, there’s this awakening. And it’s not easy. It’s a hard journey, but at the end of the day, I feel like it is so, so worth it.”
Tia has received lots of support from her family and friends. “You are an amazing mama,” Adrienne Bosh wrote to Tia. “And you bring sunshine to so many,” she added. “Sending you all the love,” wrote Lesley Ann-Brandt.
