For parents, watching children grow on their journeys towards adulthood is often bittersweet. On one hand, there is pride, joy, and excitement for the next milestone to happen, and then, on the other hand, there are nothing but tears as you reminisce. Khloe Kardashian knows this all too well as the Good American founder shares throwback photos of her daughter in honor of her fifth birthday. And yes, there were tears!
In a series of pictures on Kardashian’s Instagram stories, the the 38-year-old mom of two posted pictures from her pregnancy with True through her daughter’s infancy, the toddler stage, to present-day.
Additionally, super grandmom, Kris Jenner posted her own trip down memory lane with her granddaughter in honor of her fifth birthday as well.
Jenner posted, “Happy birthday to my beautiful granddaughter True!!!! You are such a gorgeous light with your mesmerizing smile and your effervescent personality that captures our hearts and lights up every room! You are such an amazing daughter, granddaughter, cousin, best friend, and the perfect sister. You have such a beautiful spirit about you, and are so kind, sweet, giving, generous, thoughtful, and are the best dancer ever!!!!
“Lovey” continued, “Thank you for bringing so much happiness, joy, and love to our family. I love you so much TuTu and I am so blessed that God chose me to be your grandmother…. I love you to the moon and back!!!! Forever and ever… Lovey xo.”
In a recent interview, with Elle, the reality star told the fashion magazine that she enjoys every part of being a parent.
“I know it’s cliché, but I love everything, even the hard parts,” Khloe shared. “[My kids] challenge me as a person, and being able to shape little people into really incredible big people is an honor and a gift.”
Kardashian shares True and a son with NBA star Tristan Thompson.
