Michael Ealy is loving his life as a father. The Reasonable Doubt star recently shared photos from a basketball game at Madison Square Garden he and his son, Elijah Brown, took in that was nothing short of a dream come true for Ealy.
“I’ve been to many games over the course of my life,” Michael told his social media fans. “I’ve waited 10 years for this one,” the celebrity father said of having the opportunity to spend quality time with his son at a basketball game.
“I’m struggling to find the words that could capture the joy we both felt,” Ealy continued. “HUGE THANKS to Dan and everyone over at @thegarden for the hospitality and love,” the celebrity father said of the experience. “Truly an incredible experience and night we’ll always remember as father and son.”
Elijah made Michael Ealy a father for the first time months after the actor wed his longtime partner, Khatira Rafiqzada, in a private ceremony. Michael and Khatira commemorated ten years of marriage last October.
“Fifteen years together but today we celebrate 10 years of marriage,” Rafiqzada wrote to her husband. “We have truly grown up together. Seen the world together. Built a home together. Built a family together,” Khatira continued.
“You have loved me at my worst and my best, and everything in between … and I don’t take any of that for granted,” Rafiqzada wrote to her husband. “Thank you for your patience and always showing me how important it is to work through conflict, and life’s many challenges,” the entrepreneur told her spouse.
“You have taught me to never give up, always show grace, take accountability, and most importantly, you are willing to grow and evolve with me — with us. I am so d*mn proud of myself for knowing back then that you are what I deserve.”
Michael Ealy’s Instagram fans could not get enough of his father-son bond at the basketball game this past weekend. “So cool,” one social media fan exclaimed. “You and your son are twinning,” the supporter exclaimed.
“Such a special experience with your boy,” another Instagram follower declared. “There’s nothing like the garden.”
