Being a star athlete and keeping your grades honor roll worthy is something that Demetrius Purvis II has already accomplished. However, he is already adding to his list of successes as the now twelve-year-old star athlete has published a new book and has become an entrepreneur.
And of course, his parents couldn’t be prouder of the Henry County athlete as they posted on his official Instagram account prior to the book’s early October release date.
“Shoutout to our son Demetrius Purvis II . He is officially an Author for All Through the Game Children’s book at Age 11. Release Date is October 4,2022. But you can pre-order this book online at Target, Books-A-Million, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and Mascotbooks.com,” the post read.
The post continued giving a description as to what readers can expect.
“All Through the Game is a rhythmic adventure that will have readers moving and singing as their imaginations take off from the football players on the field to the crowd in the stands. “Hardcover Book”. Have a limited amount on hand before release date.”
Purvis is truly a disciplined young man, proving his dedication to becoming “the best” as he runs and does 200 push-ups daily to remain in shape for football. The star athlete is presently quarterback and a wide receiver for Georgia Elite Sports Academy.
“He’s a total player, a great teammate,” Eddie Grant, Purvis’s coach, touts the young man’s character in a recent interview with 11Alive . “He’s very focused, laser focused, very humble, but a student of the game. He wants to always be better.”
In addition to his success with sports and the pen, Purvis is also a budding entrepreneur as he has started his own clothing line, DTHEBEAST (DTB) Apparel, that specializes in clothes and air fresheners.
“All Through the Game” is now available at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Mascot Books.
So, just where does Purvis see himself in the future? Well, the NFL of course. And, we have a feeling that he will get there. Great things are unquestionably lining up for his future.
