Ice-T’s became a brand new man after the birth of his daughter, Chanel Nicole. The legendary recording artist recently appeared on The Bigger Tigger Show to talk about his life as a dad.
“Muhammad Ali said it best, ‘When a man has a child in the second half of his life, after 50, it resets his life,’” Ice-T shared. The celebrity father and his wife, Coco Austin, welcomed their daughter in 2015.
“It started my life over,” Ice-T said of the birth of his daughter. “I got back healthy, back in the gym, looking good, sharp, I’m strong – I’ve got to live,” the celebrity father shared. “I can’t go anywhere,” Ice-T continued. “I’ve got to keep chasing these bags.”
Ice-T, who began his career in the music industry decades ago, has grown to be a staple in the Law and Order franchise. The actor is presently beloved by many who enjoy Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
The masses love Ice-T, but some scrutinize Coco Austin for her rearing practices. Coco recently addressed the criticism during an interview on the Tamron Hall Show.
“I have the whole word and I’m underneath the microscope all the time,” Coco shared. “You don’t hear what good you do,” the celebrity mom added. “You don’t hear the goodness. You just hear all the bad.”
Dozens have accused Coco Austin of allowing her daughter to grow up too fast. Others have scrutinized the celebrity mom for nursing her daughter beyond the infant months.
“I know I’m a good mother because I’ve dedicated the last six years of putting everything aside, my career [and] everything, just for her,” Coco told Tamron Hall. “And I just want a little love,” Austin shared. “I want a little respect from people.”
Ice-T gives his wife loads of love and respect. “I’m with somebody I love,” the entertainer shared with The Bigger Tigger Show. “Me and Coco have been together 22 years, so I’m in a good place.”
