Ice-T and Coco celebrated their daughter Chanel Nicole’s sixth birthday last month. The celebrity couple decided to share pictures from their little one’s birthday photoshoot this past weekend.
Coco and Ice-T uploaded the candids to their daughter’s Instagram account. “Did I mention that I turned 6,” the caption underneath Chanel’s collage of pictures asked. “Here’s my annual photoshoot with @jessiemarrerophotography,” the caption continued. “Balloons by [email protected].”
Ice-T and Coco went to great lengths to make their daughter’s birthday a success. Chanel Nicole enjoyed a party inspired by Spongebob on November 28, 2021. “Thanks to the 100 guests that show up and to all the people behind the scenes that make (sic) Chanel’s party so grand,” Coco wrote online after the festivities convened. “So many pics to go through. I smile when go through them,” the celebrity mom added. “I love how the guys even got into the spirit.”
Chanel Nicole has enjoyed quite the adventurous year in the spotlight. First, the youngster accompanied her mom in various interviews after Coco revealed that she still breastfeeds her daughter. Then, Chanel Nicole was at the center of controversy after her mom revealed she let her daughter wear acrylic nails to school for picture day. Critics were not in opposition to kids wearing acrylic nails to school. Chanel’s age, however, was the subject of scrutiny.
Many pointed out the fact that Coco allowed Chanel to partake in an experience that some view as reserved for teens and adults while refusing to move her child away from nursing. Coco responded to all of the criticism with calmness.
“I’m not an argue-er,” Coco told her supporters and opposers. “Whatever you want to believe, you can believe,” she continued. “But I just don’t believe that [if] society says they should stop at 2 [years old], you as a mother should stop because they said so,” the celebrity mom said. “I’m not going to stop because I feel like it’s a great bonding experience between her and I.”
Chanel Nicole is Coco Austin and Ice-T’s only child together. Ice-T has three kids in all.
