Chicago West celebrated her fifth birthday this past weekend with a Hello Kitty-themed party. The youngster had family and friends around her to commemorate the occasion.
Kim Kardashian went to great lengths to make her daughter’s bash a success. The Reality TV star gave her little one a cake that was nothing short of perfection.
Chicago wore pink braids to her party, which some social media fans were concerned would get caught in the flames while Chicago busied herself with blowing out her birthday candles. Kim, however, held her daughter’s hair back to prevent any mishaps.
“You are our little doll who lights up every room,” Kris Jenner wrote to Chicago on the little one’s birthday. “You bring the sunshine and the smiles every day and are so kind, sweet, loving, artistic, creative, generous, funny, and give the best hugs,” the celebrity grandmother doted. “You are the most amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend and I am so blessed God chose me to be your grandmother,” Kris shared. “I love you more than you will ever know,” Jenner wrote to her granddaughter.
Kim Kardashian also took to Instagram with birthday wishes for Chicago on the youngster’s special day. “My twin,” the celebrity mom shared. “Happy fifth birthday,” Kim wrote to Chicago. “I really can’t believe you’re five,” the entrepreneur exclaimed. “I’m so so proud to be your mom,” Kim told Chicago. “It’s the best feeling in the entire world,” she continued. “You are the cuddliest, sweetest, silliest, most independent, caring girl in the whole world and I just love you so much!”
Chicago is one of four children Kim Kardashian has with her ex-husband, Kanye West. The Reality TV star recently spoke about co-parenting with her ex, which she described as difficult.
“Co-parenting is really f—ing hard,” Kim told Angie Martinez of the Angie Martinez IRL podcast. “If [our kids] don’t know things that are being said, why would I ever bring that energy to them,” the celebrity mom asked.
“That is real, heavy, grownup s— that they are not ready to deal with,” Kim said of the way her ex-husband is portrayed in the press. “When they are [ready], we will have those conversations,” Kardashian told Martinez.
“One day, my kids will thank me for not sitting here and bashing their dad,” the Reality TV star said. “I could,” Kim revealed. “I definitely protected him.”
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were married for six years before separating in 2020. The celebrity parents finalized their divorce last year.
