DaniLeigh is a doting mom who will do anything for her baby girl. The recording artist recently shared pictures of her daughter, Velour, with social media fans.

“It’s whatever for you,” Dani wrote to Velour. Some social media fans could not get over how much they believed Velour favored her father, DaBaby. Others claimed Dani’s daughter took after her mother in the way of physical features.

“She’s starting to look like you,” one social media follower shared. “Y’all keep saying she looks like her daddy,” another fan wrote online. “I don’t see it.”

DaniLeigh and DaBaby welcomed their daughter in 2021. The celebrity parents commemorated their little one’s first birthday last August with a party to remember.

Some have refused to forgive DaBaby after watching the rapper fight with his daughter’s mother three months after DaniLeigh gave birth. Velour’s mom, however, has moved on from the incident and recently put words of encouragement into the atmosphere regarding DaBaby seemingly being blackballed due to accusations of homophobia.

“I’ll start by saying he is a great dad,” Dani told Variety during a recent interview. “Curators have a really tough job as do artists to be socially responsible,” she added. “I think that if an artist shows growth and continues to make great music, they can take that power back.”

DaniLeigh has certainly used music to take back her power. It was just a few months ago that the singer released her EP My Side in an effort to control the narrative surrounding her and her daughter’s father.

“It’s a real personal project,” Dani shared with Variety. “I was scared,” she admitted. “I don’t know, it was a very back-and-forth thing for me. But I did it and I felt good releasing it, and helping other people with their situations.”

Velour is DaniLeigh’s first child and DaBaby’s fourth child.
