Devon Still and his wife, Asha Still, are in the final stretch of pregnancy. Asha took to Instagram on Monday (Nov. 28) to give her fans an update on her expectancy.
“Just weeks away from my due date,” Asha told her social media fans. “Although this pregnancy has been rough, I’m beyond thankful God blessed me with another baby girl that I can’t wait to meet,” she added.
Devon and Asha announced their expectancy of a child this past summer. The two shared a post on Instagram that featured Asha standing in front of Devon while holding a positive at-home pregnancy test by ClearBlue.
“Team of 5 coming soon,” Devon told his supporters. “Looks like we’ll need to be ready to be outnumbered by our kids in a few months – no more man-to-man defense,” he added.
“We could not be more excited to be growing our family and are grateful for the clear answers from @Clearblue over the years that have helped on our journey,” Still said of CearBlue’s revolutionary pregnancy tests that clearly read “Pregnant” for positive results. “Wish us luck!”
Asha and Devon Still welcomed their first child, Arya Marie, in 2019. The couple’s daughter made Devon’s oldest child, Leah, a big sister for the first time. “She was born at 2:12 a.m. on [May] 31st,” Devon shared shortly after Arya’s birth. “We’re blessed,” the star athlete added.
The Stills were also blessed to learn they would welcome another daughter this time around in a gender reveal that didn’t go as planned. The revelation was meant to take on the form of a prank geared toward Asha.
Although the logistics broke down a bit, the message of Asha and her husband expecting a girl was clearly conveyed. “Girl Dad,” wrote one fan in the comments section of the gender reveal prank. “This means she’s got to get pregnant again,” another supporter mused in reference to them hoping Asha and Devon were expecting a boy. “It’s that simple.”
Devon and Asha’s second child will arrive just in time for the new year.
