Gabrielle Union and the family attended the premiere of Disney’s Strange World, which took place at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California, this past Tuesday (Nov. 15). Kaavia James was definitely the center of attention on the red carpet.
Of course, Gabrielle and Dwyane Wade brought excellence in the way of apparel and overall vibes in the spotlight. Kaav, however, brought her unique personality to the stage along with a fabulous fashion sense that made the Wade family’s red carpet appearance complete.
“Strange world and we’re just living in it,” Gabrielle told her social media fans in reference to the premiere.. “We all we got,” the actress declared.
“Look at you guys,” one social media follower responded after seeing pictures of Gabrielle, Dwyane, and Kaavia on the red carpet. “Kaav is everything,” another supporter said.
Strange World is an adventure film that centers around the Clades family. All members are legendary yet not all family members are equal. The Clades must appreciate their differences to complete their most crucial mission yet.
Directors Don Hall and Qui Nguyen recently sat down with SlashFilm to discuss the overarching themes of Strange World.
“For me it’s a celebration of family,” Nguyen shared with the media source. “On the surface, it is a great father-son story,” the director added. “In a weird way it should have come out on Father’s Day,” Nguyen observed. “You can arguably go, ‘This is the film that I can’t wait to watch with my kid and watch with my dad.’ But it’s also just about a family.”
Nguyen went on to describe Strange World as “this huge coming of age story, not of an individual, but individuals, of how Jaeger has to grow to be a better grandfather, Searcher has to grow, Ethan has to grow to become the legacy that allows them to fix the world.”
You can catch Strange World in theaters on November 23, 2022.
