PUSS IN BOOTS HEADS BACK TO THEATERS IN NEW MOVIE, “PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH”

It has been over decade since Puss in Boots created havoc on screen. Well, the orange tabby with the adorable eyes is headed back to theaters in the new DreamWorks movie, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish.

So, just what can fans expect from this new movie starring our favorite leche-loving feline? Well, here is a synopsis and more information about the high-flying action according to DreamWorks.com.

Academy Award® nominee Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of the notorious PiB as he embarks on an epic journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore his lost lives. But with only one life left, Puss will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: the captivating Kitty Softpaws (Oscar® nominee Salma Hayek Pinault).

In their quest, Puss and Kitty will be aided—against their better judgment—by a ratty, chatty, relentlessly cheerful mutt, Perrito (Harvey Guillén, What We Do in the Shadows). Together, our trio of heroes will have to stay one step ahead of Goldi (Oscar® nominee Florence Pugh, Black Widow) and the Three Bears Crime Family, Jack Horner (Emmy winner John Mulaney, Big Mouth) and terrifying bounty hunter, the big, bad Wolf (Wagner Moura, Narcos).

Puss In Boots: The Last Wish is directed by Joel Crawford and produced by Mark Swift. The film will be executive produced by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish centers on the beloved Puss in Boots character who first appeared on the scene in 2004 in the Oscar®-nominated Shrek 2 movie. Audiences immediately fell in love with the suave gatito in the black boots. The famous character went on to co-star in two other Shrek sequels and then his first solo film in 2011.

Mark your calendars because Puss In Boots: The Last Wish swings into theaters with adventure afoot on December 21st.
