“@kaaviajames insisted as soon as we returned from Africa, she could have her #Encanto themed 4th birthday party and she get to dress up as Isabella,” Gabrielle told her social media followers. “She came to slay,” the celebrity mom said of her daughter. “Don’t play with her,” Union added.

Kaavia James celebrated her fourth birthday last week. The little one was in Africa with her parents at the time of her birthday.

“Happy fourth birthday, my little queen,” Dwyane Wade wrote to his daughter. Gabrielle Union also wrote a beautiful message to Kaav on the youngster’s special day.

“Happiest of birthdays to my little brown girl with a soul wise beyond her years and a brain and spirit that is so open and free you inspire literally everyone around you,” the actress shared with her daughter. “Watching you turn 4 years old in #SouthAfrica after traveling through three other countries throughout Africa has been one of the biggest blessings of our lives,” Gabrielle shared with Kaav.

“We love you beyond measure, baby,” Union continued. “May the ancestors hold you close and guide you the rest of your days.”

Kaavia James is Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s only child together. She arrived via surrogacy in 2018 after Gabrielle and Dwyane attempted to conceive and give birth by traditional means.

“I felt such relief,” Gabrielle told the press after her daughter’s birth four years ago. “To hear her breathing and crying was a dream,” the actress added. “We didn’t really allow ourselves to believe it until then,” Union said.

In addition to Kaavia James, Dwyane also has a son, Zaire, and a daughter named Zaya from his first marriage. In all, the retired Miami ‘Heat’ star has four children.
