Rotimi and his fiancée, Vanessa Mdee are expecting a baby girl! The celebrity couple revealed the family’s expansion in social media posts on Tuesday (Nov. 1).

Vanessa and Rotimi shared a clip from their gender reveal party, which rendered the pleasant surprise of them expecting a girl. “Glory to God,” Mdee shared with her Instagram fans. “It’s a girl.” Rotimi shared the sentiment with the same clip and a similar caption.

“We’re excited to announce that our baby girl is on the way,” the celebrity couple shared with PEOPLE exclusively. “What a beautiful testament to GOD’s favor,” Rotimi and Vanessa said. “We are overjoyed.”

Rotimi and Vanessa Mdee welcomed their son, Seven, last September. “We are super excited to welcome our son,” the celebrity parents told the press. “As first-time parents, everything about this experience has been a brand-new challenge,” Vanessa and Rotimi admitted. “We love it.”

Rotimi sat down with BET</em> to talk about the joys of first-time fatherhood last October. “I was in that space of joy and felt an overwhelming amount of love–the kind of love that you really can’t explain,” the new dad shared with the press. “Every issue or every worry or doubt that I had in the world just vanished,” he added. “It brought me and my fiancée closer together because we’re figuring out this whole new thing that requires us to rely on each other that’s making us even better friends.”

Vanessa and Rotimi decided to name their son Seven Adeoluwa after Biblical and Yoruba principles. “We had another name in mind, but I thought Seven would be perfect because it’s like completion,” Rotimi shared.

“Seven in the Bible is the number of completion. And his middle name, Adeoluwa, means ‘God’s crown’ in Yoruba,” the celebrity father revealed. “We wanted a really powerful name that speaks to him and his family, and he completes us. That’s the perfect name.”

Fans loved hearing about Vanessa Mdee and Rotimi’s family expansion on Tuesday (Nov. 1). “Blessing flow, my brother,” Ace Hood said. “Congrats.” Naturi Naughton wrote, “So happy for y’all. Congratulations.”
