Keke and her husband Zackariah Darring welcomed their youngest child in June. The baby arrived several weeks after the Darrings received positive Trisomy 13 test results, which placed their baby in a category of being highly susceptible to death before birth. Keke and Zachariah decided to go forward with the pregnancy despite the doctor’s recommendation for abortion. Their son was born on June 1, 2022.

“I always said when I was a little girl that I wanted a lot of children,” Keke share during her recent interview segment on Uncensored. “I used to always say, ‘Mommy, I’m going to have between eight and ten [kids],’” Wyatt said reminiscing about how she always wanted a big family.

“Well, I’m at eleven,” the singer shared. “So we’ll see what the rest brings in life.”

Some have scrutinized Keke Wyatt for choosing to have so many children. The recording artist, however, has not paid attention to outsiders seeking to give their opinions on her life.

“I think I’m going to do one more,” Wyatt said of the possibility of having another child during her Uncensored interview. “I love being a mama,” Keke added. “If I wasn’t a mommy, I don’t think I would be who I am today,” the singer shared.

“I started my career with children, with a child,” Keke said of her humble beginnings at the turn of the century. “And I’m still in my career with eleven kids,” Wyatt continued.

“They told me, ‘If you have a baby, you know, you’re not going to be able to do what you need to do. You can’t travel, and you can’t such and such.’ I said, ‘Okay.’ My mother looked at me in my eyes and she said, ‘Baby, you can do whatever you want to do, with or without a baby.’”
